Mild weather is expected across central and eastern Europe on Saturday, while areas of wet conditions return to the south. A low pressure system develops in the western Mediterranean Sea and creates a warm front that extends into from Spain through France, Switzerland, and northern Italy. This system will also push moisture onshore, triggering scattered rain showers along the frontal boundary. Partly cloudy skies will extend northward over central Europe. Expect a few patchy clouds in Paris with highs in the mid-40s(F)/ near 6(C), while Rome will be overcast with highs in the lower 50s(F)/ lower teens (C). Barcelona should remain dry with highs in the mid-50s(F)/ lower teens(C) until Saturday evening when scattered showers are likely.

To the north, a trough of low pressure approaches the British Isles, bringing showers to parts of Ireland and western United Kingdom. Dublin will be overcast with a chance of rain showers throughout the day with highs in the upper 40s(F)/ near 9(C). London, however, remains drier with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-40s(F)/ near 6(C).

Elsewhere, a ridge of high pressure builds from Scandinavia, over eastern Europe and into western Russia. This pushes cool and dry air in from the north, allowing for a chilly and brisk day. Krakow will be sunny and cool with highs in the mid-20s(F)/ near -5(C), with a windchill near 5(F)/ -15(C). Helsinki will see patchy clouds with highs in the upper teens(F)/ -7(C), with a windchill near -9(F)/ -22(C).
